Arran 25 Year Old 1996 (cask 1996/905) – Single Cask 70cl Whisky

This right here is a particularly impressive bottling from the Arran Distillery on the island which shares its name. It's a 25 year old single cask expression, distilled back in 1996 and left to mature in a first-fill sherry hogshead. After a quarter of a century of rest, that cask was cracked open in 2021, producing just 265 bottles of this intensely sherried single malt Scotch whisky. Just look at the mahogany hue on it!
