Arran 15 Year Old Rare Batch – French Oak Bordeaux 70cl Whisky

The Arran Distillery launched its Rare Batch series in the second half of 2021, and it did so with a pair of excellent single malt Scotch whiskies, including this one right here. It's a 15 year old expression that was entirely matured in casks that had previously aged French red wine – specifically from Médoc in the famed Bordeaux region. Dense with red fruit boldness, all carried along by Arran's excellent spirit.
