Reviews for Arran 10 Year Old

Buttery and delicious

A very nice scotch. Mostly vanilla with a very soft caramel leading to a mild butterscotch flavour. The flavour remained for a few minutes after each sip and there was definitely a hint of coconut in the aftertaste, but easy to miss. Very pleasant, especially after a meal. Having said all that, I prefer smoke and peat in my scotch so this left something to be desired, but that's just my personal tastes. If I can enjoy this then a fan of this style of scotch will be very very pleased. 10/10

Amongst the best session whiskeys you can buy.

Industry opinions; Gold Winner, 2023, International Wine and Spirits Competition. Scotch Whisky Awards, 2022, Best Entry Level Single Malt. Online Scotch Whiskey Awards, 2023, Best Value Single Malt (three years running). Do you really need my personal view? Right... I love mellow Highland and Speyside malts. This is a superb whiskey in keeping with my taste. I always take a bottle to share with my dear old friends on our annual fly fishing week together. Does that persuade you?

Very good for its age an price

For £40 a bottle this stuff is hard to beat. Also very smooth for a 10yo. Will definitely be checking to see what other offerings this distillery has.
