Ardnamurchan AD/09.20:01
The time has come. Behold, the first single malt Scotch whisky released by the Ardnamurchan Distillery! We've been eagerly awaiting this whisky since spirit first flowed from the distillery's stills back in 2014, but Ardnamurchan AD/09.20:01 is finally here! This expression was made with a combination of peated and unpeated malt, and matured in ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks, before being bottled up at 46.8% ABV.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Buttery at first, before a helping of green apple and ripe pear arrives. Subtly smoky, with a touch of coastal salinity tucked away.
Palate
Tangy tropical fruit (think mango and pineapple), blending with soft hints of heather honey and drying smoke.
Finish
Cinnamon cookies, a kick of peppery barley and some juicy peach.
