This single malt from Ardnamurchan honours that notorious insect in this wild collaboration with insect repellent brand Smidge! This single malt brings together a combo of 60% peated and 40% unpeated spirit drawn from 13 bourbon barrels, a sherry butt, five sauternes barriques, and five Madeira barriques.
Candied ginger and cinnamon snaps are joined by floral, honeyed notes of baklava and sweet, zesty citrus peels while chimney smoke drifts in the distance.
Herbaceous malt, creamy custard, cake batter and fruity boiled sweeties are backed by grilled stone fruits and charcoal.
