This single malt from Ardnamurchan was distilled from 100% Golden Promise barley and filled into a host of American oak bourbon barrels to mature in 2018. Bottled at a robust 59.2% ABV, it boasts a rich, oily mouthfeel, layered with creamy sweetness, toasted nuts, and soft orchard fruit.
Freshly opened milk chocolate digestive biscuits. Glacé cherries, lime cordial, a soft dusting of icing sugar on marzipan, apricot jam. Melted butter with acacia honey on sourdough toast. Salted preserved lemons. A whiff of long grass.
