Ardnamurchan’s Heritage Barley series gives Golden Promise a chance to show what it can do. For 2026, the distillery has bottled bourbon and sherry maturations separately, making a side-by-side comparison very tempting. This bourbon-cask expression uses unpeated spirit made entirely from Golden Promise barley, with the variety accentuating Ardnamurchan’s oily texture. Expect bright citrus, jam tarts and creamy confectionery, bottled without chill filtration or added colour at 58.6% ABV.
