This peated single cask release from Ardnamurchan sees the Highland single malt Scotch matured in a first-fill oloroso sherry butt. Presented at cask strength, the 2015 vintage was bottled without chill filtration or added colour, with a limited number of 662 bottles available.
This bottle was part of a private collection and may show signs of wear if of a certain vintage - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Sweet, meaty smoke, with sundried tomatoes, and cinnamon and nutmeg spice.
Palate
Smouldering bonfire ash, with rich, oily walnuts, smoked kippers, and some salted caramel.
Finish
Long with lingering smoke.
