Single Malt
Scotland
Bourbon
This single malt from Ardnamurchan spent seven years maturing in a first-fill bourbon barrel, which was cracked open by the folks at indie bottler Chorlton Whisky. A total of 248 cask-strength bottles were drawn from the barrel, without added colour or chill filtration.
Waves of oily, herbaceous smoke, meaty malt, walnut oil, and dried, smoked tropical fruit.
Robust layers of sweet peat bring medicinal notes balanced by banana bread and juicy grilled pineapple.
Waxed lemons, creamy chocolate, tarry smoke, brine, and peppercorns.
