Sherry

An indie bottling from the hugely popular Ardnamurchan Distillery here! Distilled in the Highlands in 2015, this single malt rested in a pair of ex-Oloroso sherry casks for five years. After that time, Adelphi bottled it up, with an outturn of 1,333 bottles at 59.3% ABV, released in partnership with MacLean & Bruce. Yes, "MacLean" as in famed whisky expert Charles MacLean!
Kirsch, syrupy berry jam, hints of mint, orange oil, and a smoky, meaty undertone.
Viscous and rich, with salted, roasted nuts, tobacco, baked earth, and smoked sea salt.
Polished leather lingers alongside fruit and nut dark chocolate.
