Ardnamurchan 2019 - The Heart Cut #24
The Heart Cut presents an impressive single malt from Ardnamurchan on Scotland's west coast. Distilled in 2019, this single malt spent its full maturation in a single Pedro Ximénez sherry cask, bringing layers of bright citrus and sweet stone fruits to the gentle peat and coastal salinity at its core. A total of 543 bottles were drawn from the cask in 2026.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Caramel and buttery brioche nestle beneath floral cut grass and nutty malt.
Palate
Rich and nutty with soft layers of peach and apricot, a touch of milk chocolate, and caramelised biscuits, backed by oily, briny salinity.
Finish
Creamy malt, dried fruit, sweet and salty popcorn.
