Ardnamurchan 10 Year Old 2015 - Decadent Drams (Decadent Drinks)
A ferocious Ardnamurchan, aged for a decade in first-fill sherry hogshead and bottled at a smouldering 55% ABV. This heavily peated vintage 2015 spirit throws out tar, smoked marmalade, pine wood and deep umami darkness. Sherry and peat lock into a muscular embrace in a release that spawned just 318 bottles.

Nose
Tar, dark sherry, smoked marmalade and pine resin, with earthy peat and hints of charred spice.
Palate
Rich peat smoke wrapped in thick sherry sweetness, root beer, smoked citrus, pine wood and heavy umami depth. Waxy and muscular with brooding intensity.
Finish
Tar, resin, savoury peat and dark fruit linger in a stormy fade.
