An indie bottling of single malt from the Ardmore distillery by The Single Cask. This one is 9 years old - exactly. It was distilled on 4th June 2009 and bottled on 4th June 2018! Only 217 bottles were produced.
Honey-roast peanuts, brown sugar and a hint of cherry.
Still enjoyably nutty, though earthy vanilla does contend for the centre stage. Wisps of smoke surround it all.
Burnt toffee, leafy mint and orange.
