Ardmore 8 Year Old 2008 - Claxton's
8 year old single malt from the Ardmore distillery, independently bottled by Claxton's. This one is rather interesting indeed, as it's been matured in a "peated Islay barrel"! A release of 299 bottles.

Nose
Smoky, medicinal peat, joined by soft lemon peel freshness.
Palate
Still packed with peat, now developing earthy elements.
Finish
Boiled orange sweeties and sea breeze.
