Newly-launched indie bottler Cooper Monument got their hands on a pair of excellent single cask Ardmore single malts! This one was from refill barrel #803522, which was laid down in 2010 and cracked open in 2017.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Grilled pineapple and BBQ char, with a layer of caramel bringing overt sweetness.
Palate
Oaky warmth hits the palate, joined by cinnamon and cumin. A touch of tinned peach develops underneath the spice.
Finish
Continued cooking spice heat lingers.
