Ardmore 30 Year Old 1987 (cask 2884) - Connoisseurs Choice (Gordon & MacPhail)

Tasting Note by The Producer
Nose
Pressed green apple leads into tropical fruit aromas with a refreshing menthol lift. A toasted malt edge develops; hints of campfire marshmallows and charred oak linger.
Palate
Sweet, peppery, with a fresh herbal edge. Delicate cured meat flavours transform into creamy, nutty salted toffee. Banana notes unfold with gently drying pink grapefruit.
Finish
Dark chocolate and bursts of lime zest linger with nuances of oak.
