Ardmore 25 Year Old (Thompson Bros.)

A 25-year-old Ardmore Single Malt Scotch Whisky presented by Thompson Bros. It was aged in a pair of refill hogshead casks and then filled into 463 bottles non-chill filtered and with its natural colour at 48.9% ABV. The bottle label artwork is from KMG.

Tasting Note by The Producer

Nose

Sindhri mango, kumquat, farm-yardy, scented petrol, pinot gris, fennel leaves, a gorse bush that is on fire.

Palate

BBQ’d yellow fruits, creamy texture, lemongrass, akin to an early 90s frog, eucalyptus, a lovely balance of phenols and sweetness.

Finish

Dark chocolate with some Biscoff, ashy and round at the very end.
