Ardmore 25 Year Old - Marriage (The Single Malts of Scotland)
The Marriage of Casks (The Single Malts of Scotland) series has been bolstered by another lovely single malt Scotch whisky, this time from Ardmore Distillery. The 1997 vintage whisky was aged for 25 years in a hogshead cask and then bottled at 47.5% ABV.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Winter spice, shortbread, milk chocolate, and strawberry.
Palate
Red berries, eucalyptus, vanilla, fresh herbs, and citrus.
Finish
Dark chocolate and ginger.
