A 21 year old single malt from Ardmore, independently bottled for The Single Malts of Scotland range. This one began maturation back in May 1998, and aged in a single hogshead until January 2020, when it was bottled at cask strength with an outturn of 287 bottles.
Toasted nuts, BBQ lemons and a touch of Victoria sponge cake.
Plenty of peat smoke, with hints of flinty minerals and buttered apple underneath.
Lasting cask char and bonfire embers.
