21 year old Ardmore, independently bottled by The Single Cask! This smoky Speysider was distilled in August 1996 and left to mature until November 2017, when it was bottled at cask strength. An incredibly small release, with only 60 bottles produced.
Nose: Well-oaked, with a hint of orange oil developing underneath fragrant smoke.
Palate: Thick waves of honey and caramel, joined once again by smoke and mature oak.
Finish: A pinch of sea salt and black pepper arrives on the finish.
