Single Malt
Scotland

This 2009 vintage Ardmore single malt was re-racked into a tired old refill butt for just over two years – all headspace and mellow oxidation – to give it a softly peated, waxy character. Bottled at 53%, this is a showcase of distillate character over cask muscle. Ardmore in its element. It is presented at its natural colour, non-chill filtered, with an outturn of just 226 bottles.
Farmyard peat, green olive brine, peppery citrus, sheep wool, and a whisper of wax.
Creamy, oily texture. Peppery smoke, lemon zest, olive oil, and medicinal wafts.
Long and savoury – think embers, olives, coal scuttle, and lingering bonfire smoke.
