Ardmore 14 Year Old 2002 (casks 935, 936 & 938) - Cask Strength (Gordon & MacPhail)

Independently bottled single malt from the Ardmore distillery, drawn from a trio of refill Sherry hogshead which housed the whisky for 14 years. This was distilled in July 2002 and bottled in October 2016 by Gordon & MacPhail for their Cask Strength series (at cask strength, obviously).

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose

Spicy ginger and baking cookies, with BBQ smoke later on.

Palate

Sponge cake, raisins and smoky peat. Cedar.

Finish

Hot clove, cinnamon and some chilli-chocolate.
