This single malt from Ardmore was distilled in 2009 and spent 13 years maturing in a host of second-fill bourbon barrels that previously contained Islay single malt. The whisky was bottled by Signatory in 2023 to join the Un-Chillfiltered Collection.
Waves of earthy peat and sooty smoke are balanced by fragrant vanilla and grilled stone fruits.
A bold balance of rich peat, leathery oak, charred pineapple and more woody vanilla, with a touch of menthol beneath.
Warming spices gather for the finish, lingering alongside charred herbs, charcoal, toasted oak, and soft fruits.
