Ardmore 11 Year Old 2014 - Woodrow's of Edinburgh
A properly punchy Highland peated malt independently bottled by Woodrow's of Edinburgh. Distilled at Ardmore Distillery in 2014 and matured for 11 years in a first-fill bourbon barrel, this single cask release delivers classic Ardmore smoke wrapped in creamy vanilla sweetness. Bottled at a formidable 60.2% ABV, natural colour, and non-chill filtered, with just 229 bottles released.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Wood smoke, vanilla fudge, grilled lemon, and heather honey, with touches of eucalyptus and charred herbs.
Palate
Oily peat smoke rolls across the tongue alongside custard creams, black pepper, toasted oak, and citrus zest.
Finish
Lingering bonfire embers, cracked pepper, and sweet malt.
