Hailing from a secret Speyside distillery, this single malt spent nine years maturing in a sherry butt between 2012 and 2022. Now, a total of 782 bottles join the inaugural release of the Inverdarach Potstill Editions, a collaborative indie series from Ardgowan and Austrian whisky retailer Potstill.
Sweet, mellow layers of fruit cake, marzipan, and citrus blossom, with juicy raisins and stone fruits joining in time.
Delicate notes of peach and apricot lead to fragrant oak and floral barley, with honeyed nuts and drying tea beneath.
Sherried oak, a touch of manuka honey, and sweet baking spice.
