Description
Sourced from the Speyside region, this single malt is presented as part of the Clydebuilt collection, selected by Ardgowan distillery's whisky maker, Laura Davies. Distilled in 2012, the whisky matured in a single oloroso sherry hogshead until bottling at a robust 59% ABV. A release of 342 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Dark layers of sherried fruit, warming spice, and rich oak.
Palate
Figs, dates, and dark chocolate join gentle oak and baking spices.
Finish
Fruit cake, a touch of nutmeg warmth, oak char, and biscuity malt.
