Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Through smoked sea salt and rockpool notes comes old leather and sandalwood as well as black cherry, Refreshers sweeties and loads of vanilla softness. Thick lumps of fresh-dug peat provide an earthy smoke throughout.
Palate
Beach bonfire, bitter woods, gentian and plenty of meaty chorizo and biltong are balanced beautifully against sweet black fruit, conference pears and plenty of buttery biscuit and rich nuttiness.
Finish
A medicinal, menthol note lingers among charred smoke and cockles.
