Ardbeg Blaaack Committee Bottling Note
Ardbeg Blaaack is a rather intriguing expression from the much-adored Islay distillery. For its creation, the distillers sourced Pinot Noir wine casks from New Zealand - a first for Ardbeg! The name is a reference to the particularly large population of sheep found in New Zealand (it's a bit like Jura's deer population, just a bit more woolly). This is the Committee Release of Ardbeg Blaaack, which has been bottled at 50.7% ABV.
