If you sit down and make a list of the big hitters of Islay, Ardbeg will no doubt come pretty high up. We're obviously delighted, therefore, whenever we can present our very own bottling of Ardbeg single malt! This is a release of just 94 bottles, distilled in 2005, matured for a dozen years in a refill hogshead, and disgorged in 2018.

A breezy coastal salinity leads to smoked bacon with savoury seasoning and plenty of cracked pepper, countered by a dash of lemon zest.
Salted peanuts and flamed citrus peels bring a wonderful edge to the hearty smoke. Charred herbs and seaweed keep things coastal.
More hearty beach bonfire, a touch of anise, and hazelnuts drizzled with salted caramel.
