Here we have the first Artist Edition Highland rye single grain Scotch from Arbikie, a limited release featuring design work from Scottish artist Francis Boag. The mashbill consists of magnifico Scottish rye, zulu Scottish wheat, and concerto Scottish malted barley, and the whisky was matured in charred American oak barrels that previously held Calvados!

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Toasted hazelnuts and sweet cider apples, alongside oaken vanilla and a touch of tobacco.

Palate Apple turnover, peppery rye spice and buttered, seeded bread, creamy custard, and biscuty malt.

Finish Warming spices linger with a touch of ginger, leathery oak, and dried apple in tow.
