Limited edition single grain Scotch whisky from Arbikie. This four-year-old Highland rye is made with Scottish arantes rye, viscount wheat, and oddysey malted barley. It was copper pot distilled in 2015 before maturing in charred American oak barrels and Armagnac barrels, and bottled without chill filtration or added colour.
Nice and spicy, with cloves, cinnamon, and some alpine herbs.
Fruity notes develop alongside the spices, with some peach, raisins, and a touch of toasted walnut.
Pepper, mint, and dried apricot linger.
