Another vintage of Aberlour's White Oak single malt Scotch whisky has arrived here at MoM Towers! This one was distilled back in 2010, and left to age in American white oak bourbon casks until 2020, when it was bottled up at 40% ABV. Aberlour is well-known for making some cracking sherried drams, but this more honeyed, creamy style of single malt is rather excellent too, we'll have you know.
Caramel, dried fruit, walnut and a whiff of warm sawdust.
Still packed with toffee and honey, now supported by fresh melon and green apple.
Slightly peppery on the finish.
