A spectacular single cask bottling from Annandale, distilled in 2017, and matured in French Burgundy casks. Before being filled, the casks undergo Annandale's 'S.T.R' process – shaving, toasting, and recharring to achieve an abundance of cask character. Released as part of the Man O’Words series, this unpeated expression was bottled up in June 2020.
Nose: Cakey spice, burnt sugar, oaky vanilla, and butterscotch.
Palate: Buttery caramel, vanilla cream, and heaps of summer orchard and field fruits.
Finish: Cinnamon, prunes, apples, toasted oak, and dark toffee.
