An ace single malt from the Annandale Distillery, released under the Man O'Sword name – so you can expect a hearty helping of smokiness to this one! It was drawn from a single S.T.R. red wine cask, which was filled back in 2017. This has imparted red fruit sweetness to the whisky, which makes for an intriguing juxtaposition to the peaty wafts. It comes bottled up at cask strength, a weighty 60.6% ABV.

Nose
Toast with Nutella, red berries, distant BBQ smoke.
Palate
Grassy at first, with hints of charred oak and strawberry appearing later.
Finish
Ginger, bonfire embers, brown sugar.
