Annandale Man O'Words American Oak (cask 588)
An unpeated single malt here from Annandale's Man O'Words range, filled into a single American oak hogshead in 2016. The whisky rested in the Lowlands until it was bottled up at 61.4% ABV, full of creamy, caramel oak.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Buttery pastry and citrus blossom, with a touch of milk chocolate.
Palate
Earthy vanilla pod and lemon curd, with barley sugar and green oak.
Finish
A drizzle of honey and caramel wafer.
