Peated Man O'Sword single malt from Annandale, distilled in 2016 and matured in an oloroso sherry butt. Bottled at a big, bold 60.3% ABV, this is a rich, robust sipper, brimming with sweet peat and burnt citrus.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Rich notes of damp charcoal, leathery oak and pipe tobacco are joined by sweet stewed orchard fruits, fiery spice, and flamed citrus.
Palate
A balance of peat smoke and tobacco with toffee apples and burnt orange, backed by vanilla fudge and poached pear.
Finish
Sweet fruits and rich smoke linger, with creamy notes of burnt custard in tow.
