Annandale Man O’Sword Vintage 2015 - Bourbon Cask (cask 271)
Smoky single malt from the Annandale Distillery! Released under the Man O'Sword name (that's how we know it's peaty – the Man O'Words are the unpeated expressions from Annandale). This whisky was distilled in 2015 and allowed to age in a single ex-bourbon cask before being bottled up at 60.9% ABV. We've seen some excellent expressions from the relatively new distillery, so it's well-worth keeping you eye on it...
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Ripe mango and charred pineapple, with hints of toasted cedar developing.
Palate
Spicy peat and creamy vanilla make for a well-balanced palate.
Finish
Nutty barley and dry smoke.
