A splendid single cask bottling from the Lowland based Annandale distillery, released as part of its peated Man O’Sword collection. The whisky was distilled in 2015 and matured in a single ex-bourbon cask before being bottled at a hearty cask strength of 61.1% ABV. Glorious stuff – another wonderful expression from Annandale.

Wafts of coastal peat smoke mingle with sweet toasted oak, woody caramel, and bursts of baking spice.
