Annandale O’Sword #470 Bottling Note

A single cask release from the Annandale distillery in the Lowlands! After releasing its very first whiskies in 2018, the distillery has some tasty expressions lined up for 2019. This particular edition is peated (while the Man O'Words is unpeated) and has been matured in a once-used ex-bourbon cask before being bottled at a generous 60.2% ABV.

Takes water very well

Try with a drop of water, or ice cube- really rounds out the flavour.

Light and sweet with a kick

Light and sweet-tasting with a burn to it, not surprising at 60%! Remarkably delicate taste, like toast and honey.
