
A transatlantic mashup of the best kind! A 50:50 blend made up of Islay single malt Scotch, and Canadian corn whiskies. Not something you see every day, but the &Whisky folk certainly know what they're doing. The earthy Islay peat is mellowed by a silky sweet nuttiness, making for an oh-so-sippable whisky.
Earthy peat mingles with apricot, buttery shortbread, warm oak, and a touch of furniture polish.
Sweet, barbecued meats, with cornbread, maple syrup, and a crack of earthy black pepper.
The peat lingers, with drizzles of caramel.

Absolutely gorgeous - only recently opened my bottle after purchassing one in early February. Will be oderering again.
I bought this after thoroughly enjoying Seaweed & Aeons and being intrigued. It's exactly as described but it didn't work for me as well as the 100% Seaweed and Aeons; and I suspect most people would prefer one or other whisky more than the mash-up. I'm an Islay lover who is not really used to corn whisky and I found the finish a bit sweet and cloying; and I fear that those that love corn whisky might find the peat on the front of the palate a bit of a shock. It's an interesting idea but I'll stick to Seaweed & Aeons in future.
Just wonderful. A smooth sipper that covers the full taste spectrum from sea salt to summer sundown. Skilfully and beautifully done.
Oh this one works beautifully. Wonderfully balanced range of tastes across the regions and flavours..sweet, smoky, spicy and just delicious. An easy sipper for these cool winter evenings.
