A marvellous single malt Scotch whisky from the anCnoc range, distilled back in 2009 and left to age in a combination of Spanish and American oak casks. It was allowed to mature until 2021, when it was bottled up at 46% ABV. A brilliant example of anCnoc's deliciously creamy, honeyed single malt.
Honey and lemon, with malty vanilla and a hint of heather.
Green apple vibrancy mellowed by milk chocolate and caramel, plus rich tea biscuits.
Waves of butterscotch and a soft touch of oaky spice.

Received a bottle of this as a Christmas gift, just opened it this afternoon and i can say it is a lovely expression of anCnoc, full of anCnocs light qualities, honey, vanill, citrus and spice, as another reviewer on here says it is a step up from the 12.
MOM tasting notes are accurate - sweet and creamy notes are well balanced with some citrus sharpness. Bought this for the improved presentation over the standard 12 year old. It's a lovely dram but whether it's worth the extra money I'm unsure. Glencadam 10 provides a similar profile for a more reasonable price.
