A limited edition release from Amrut (the second in their Spectrum series), this Indian single malt whisky makes use of a very interesting cask. It begins its maturation in bourbon barrels, before being finished in cask made with four types of oak - Oloroso Sherry oak staves, Pedro Ximenéz Sherry oak staves, new French oak and new American oak.
Marzipan, Christmas biscuits, a hint of sharp red fruit, cigar box.
Liquorice, chilli chocolate, caramelised banana, cedar and nutmeg.
Raisins, dried pear and a hint of hibiscus.

It is amazing, hands down the most tasteful and magical whiskey I’ve ever had. I was completely blown away by the tasteful and aromatic complexity of this whiskey it is unlike any whiskey I have ever had. (I love my whiskey) I highly recommend giving this single malt a shot since it is in limited supply and since you only live once you won’t want to regret not tasting from this heavenly elixir.
