Description

Kurinji is part of Amrut's Single Malts of India collection, named after the Kurinji flower, which famously blooms in the hills of southern India only once every 12 years. Bottled at 46% ABV, this Indian single malt has a distinctly and appropriately floral character.

Nose

Jasmine and honeysuckle with ripe pear, peach, vanilla, and a touch of caramel. Candied ginger and soft oak spice build underneath.

Palate

Floral and fruit-led, with poached pear, peach, honey, and vanilla fudge, followed by white pepper, ginger, and warming oak.

Finish

Orchard fruit, peppery spice, and toasted oak.
