Amrut 100 Bottling Note

100-proof Peated Malt from comparative newcomer Amrut. In our view, Amrut's malts have gone from strength to strength over the years, and although India is new to the world of malt production, the impact made by their involvement trumps other 'new countries' every time.

This was a disappointment to me----Amrut Fusion is 100 times begter than this one and is the only 60.00 --- and was rated the 3rd best whiskey in the world in my book it may be the best

Nectar of immortality

Undiluted its like the battle of the gods in your mouth, with adding water it opens up and it delivers a deluge of spicy, smoky, salty, sweet and savoury flavors. In a blind taste I'd think it has a sherry cask influence, but it doesnt, it was aged in bourbon and virgin oak so I wonder where the big spice and fruit comes from.
Excellent offering, too bad its so scarce
