A tremendous single malt from Allt-á-Bhainne, distilled in July 2000 and matured for 22 years. The final two years were spent in a single fresh sherry butt, before finally, a total of 447 bottles were independently released by Signatory for it's Cask Strength Collection in August 2022.
Syrup-soaked berries and raisins, with lashings of sweet, nutty sherry, cocoa-rich chocolate, and brown sugar.
Hearty oak brings warming spice, accompanied by candied orange and damson jam.
Things remain fruity, with dense dried stone fruits balancing aromatic baking spice and chocolate coffee beans.
