Batch 6 of single malt from the Allt-á-Bhainne distillery independently bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company, matured for 21 years. In a typical rural scene, the label depicts the Whisky Squad as a heard of cows frolicking in a river of milk and cutting shapes to House of Pain's 'Jump Around'. There are somewhat valid reasons behind all this. Honest.
Batch 6 is a release of 29 bottles.
‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blended malts and blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose Mango, pineapple and passionfruit juice, soft banana foam sweets lead with rich earthy vanilla and charred oak in support.
Palate Pineapple cubes, spicy honey and boiled orange sweets. A little rhubarb is there too, sprinkled in prickly ginger powder.
Finish Chewy barley and a lingering note of tropical fruit in ginger syrup.
