Single Malt

Another top indie bottling from Alistair Walker, the origin of this one has been kept mostly secret, though we do know that it hails from Speyside. Distilled back in May 1992, the single malt was treated to a finishing period in a single virgin oak cask before it was bottled at 46.7% ABV. Just 271 bottles were released for the Infrequent Flyers series, and this one is full of vanilla-forward baked goods.
Caramelised pear and fried tropical fruit, along with brown sugar and treacle.
Custard tarts and freshly baked cookies appear, along with caramel digestive biscuits and crystallised ginger.
Spicy oak lingers on a syrupy finish.
