Carpathian Single Malt Feteasca Neagra Cask Finish is a fascinating expression from Romanian distillery Alexandrion Saber 1789 which was crafted from Romanian barley and sub-Carpathian mountain water and then finished in casks that previously housed wine from the Romanian grape variety, Feteasca Neagra (Black Maiden), from Alexandrion's own wine cellar. It was aged initially in American oak bourbon barrels and bottled at 46% ABV.

Intense, with notes of black pepper, cloves and candy.
Palate
Medium-bodied, vanilla, raisins, bananas and barbecue pineapple.
Finish
Sweet, rich and complex.
