The whisky spent the first years of its maturation in Scotland before it was transported to the island of Martinique to be stored in a former rhum agricole cask for a further year. The word Aikan actually refers to the union of two completely different climates in Martinique, so it's an appropriate name for this whisky.
Creamy banana, toasted oak, bright citrus, salted caramel, and green herbs.
Toasted almonds, honeyed barley, tropical fruit, lime, and cinnamon.
Bright and long-lasting.
