An English single malt whisky joins the ranks of our Master of Malt single cask collection in the form of this cracking seven-year-old offering from Adnams. The talented team at the Southwold-based distillery doesn't just make tasty beer y'know! This expression boasts an abundance of buttery barley, creamy fudge, and delicate spice to explore. Matured in a French oak barrel between 2013 and 2020, 79 bottles now join our own collection of exclusive Master of Malt releases.

Delicate oak opens the way with warm caramelised nuts and hints of poached pear. Biscuity malt comes through in time with a creaminess and touch of vanilla.
A balance of drying old oak and apricot, with almond butter and elegant barley spice. Crumbly fudge develops alongside bringing balance to a sprinkling of cooking spice.
Milky tea and a touch of chai spice, sweet burnt sugar, and a pinch of drying pepper.

Decided to grab a bottle as I like some of the Adnams IPA's; a really a good purchase decsion, its a very tasty one and smooth, I'd recommend giving it a try.
